Privacy Policy
Effective and last updated: 3 September 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Savings to Wealth (“we”, “us” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, retains and protects personal data when you visit savingstowealth.com, contact us or subscribe to communications. It is written to provide transparency under applicable laws, including India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and rules brought into force under it, the EU and UK GDPR, and applicable United States state privacy laws. A law applies only where its territorial, business-size and other requirements are met.
1. Controller and contact
Savings to Wealth is the controller or data fiduciary for the processing described here. Submit privacy enquiries, grievances and rights requests through our Contact page and write “Privacy Request” in your message.
2. Personal data we collect
- Data you provide: name, email address, message content, subscription choices and other information voluntarily included in an enquiry.
- Device and usage data: IP address, browser and device type, operating system, referring and viewed pages, timestamps, approximate IP-derived location, error logs and security events.
- Cookie and preference data: consent choices, session identifiers, display preferences and analytics identifiers where enabled.
- Provider data: delivery, anti-spam, hosting, security and analytics events relating to site use.
Do not send financial credentials, government identifiers, health data or other sensitive information through our forms.
3. Sources and purposes
We collect data from you, your browser or device, and vendors that operate the site, deliver messages, prevent abuse or provide analytics. We use it to provide and secure the website, answer enquiries, deliver requested communications, understand and improve content, prevent fraud, maintain records, comply with law, and establish or defend legal claims. We do not purchase consumer profiles from data brokers.
4. Legal bases
Where the GDPR applies, processing is based on consent, performance of a contract or steps you request, compliance with legal obligations, and our legitimate interests in operating, improving and securing the site. Where Indian law requires consent, we seek consent that is free, specific, informed, unconditional and unambiguous and permit withdrawal with comparable ease. Withdrawal does not affect prior lawful processing.
5. Disclosure and sale
We may disclose relevant data to hosting and content-delivery providers, WordPress and plugin providers, email or form-delivery services, anti-spam and security vendors, analytics providers where enabled, professional advisers, transaction counterparties in a reorganisation, and authorities where lawfully required. We do not sell personal data for money and do not knowingly share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. If those practices change, we will update this notice and provide required controls.
6. International transfers
Providers may process data outside your country. Where required, we rely on an adequacy decision, approved contractual protections such as Standard Contractual Clauses, or another lawful mechanism and assess supplementary safeguards. Contact us for information about the mechanism relevant to your data.
7. Retention
We keep enquiries only as long as needed to answer and document them; subscription records while you remain subscribed and as needed to honour opt-outs; and technical and security logs for a limited period appropriate to troubleshooting and protection. We retain data longer where law, a dispute or a valid legal hold requires it, then delete, anonymise or securely isolate it.
8. Security and incidents
We use reasonable administrative, technical and organisational safeguards appropriate to the data, including access limitation, maintained software, transport encryption where supported, backups and monitoring. No internet system is completely secure. We will notify affected people and regulators of a qualifying breach as applicable law requires.
9. Your privacy rights
Subject to applicable law and exceptions, you may request confirmation and access, a copy, correction or completion, deletion or erasure, restriction, portability, withdrawal of consent, and objection to certain processing. You may ask about processors or recipients where law provides, nominate another person where Indian law permits, complain to the Data Protection Board of India or your competent EU/UK supervisory authority, and use available appeal or judicial remedies. We do not make decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects solely by automated processing.
10. California and other U.S. states
If a relevant U.S. state privacy law covers us and you, you may have rights to know or confirm processing, access, correct, delete and obtain a portable copy; opt out of sale, targeted advertising or qualifying profiling; limit certain uses of sensitive personal information; and appeal a refusal. We will not discriminate against you for exercising a right. California residents may request the categories and specific pieces collected, sources, purposes and categories of recipients. We state that we have not sold or shared personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising in the preceding 12 months and do not knowingly sell or share personal information of people under 16.
11. Requests, verification and agents
We may ask for information reasonably needed to verify identity and authority and use it only for verification. An authorised agent may act where permitted, subject to proof of authorisation and, where allowed, direct confirmation. We will respond within the applicable statutory period and explain any extension, refusal or appeal route.
12. Children
The site is intended for a general adult audience and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect children’s personal data or profile children. Contact us if you believe a child supplied data so we can investigate and delete it where required.
13. Cookies and privacy signals
See our Cookie Policy. Where required, non-essential cookies are used only after consent. We will treat legally recognised browser opt-out signals, including Global Privacy Control, as applicable law requires.
14. Third-party links
External sites and embedded services have their own privacy practices. Review their notices before giving them information.
15. Changes and complaints
We may update this policy for legal, technical or business changes and will provide any notice required for a material change. Contact us first so we can address a concern; you also retain the right to complain to the regulator competent for you.
